Bambi Johnson
Chief of Staff -

I am a Life Member of Superstition Mountain Auxiliary 9399 in Apache Junction, Arizona, and joined on the eligibility of my father, Thomas W. Scott, who served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War.

I have served the organization in many capacities, including as Auxiliary and Department President, District Trustee, many Department Program Chairmanships, and most recently as National Ambassador for Auxiliary Outreach.

I am a retired accountant and hold an associate’s degree in business management and accounting.  I am currently involved in local legislative issues as an elected City Council Member in Apache Junction, AZ.

I am married to Jim Johnson, retired Army Chief Warrant Officer and currently the long term Commander of VFW Post 9399. My family includes two daughters, two step-daughters, ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, reading, photography, oil painting and being a local veterans advocate in my community.

I look forward to this year as Chief of Staff, along with Deputy Chief of Staff Doug Kinghorn.  The Department is always available to help any Auxiliary with growth and ways to maintain a Happy Healthy Auxiliary. Call on me anytime!
