First Down (Be an Advocate)

- Contact candidates and lawmakers, this is a voting year, include Action Corp Weekly QR Code, Priority goal pamphlet. Priority goals can be ordered online by your VFW Post.
- Attend candidate events, Meet and Greet, Forums. Thank them for taking your call and for listening to your view.

Second Down - Training is You (Be Engaged)

- Train Advocacy Skills & Use the tools in MALTA.
- Invite them for Coffee at the Post or Café, give them your opinion, listen to theirs

Third Down is Action (Be Informed)

- Sign Up for Action Corp Weekly and encourage others to do the same (National)
- Sign up for Request to Speak. (State Az)- Doesn’t necessarily mean you have to verbalize, you can indicate a yay, or nay on a bill being proposed, write your reason, or voice your opinion.
- Open Call to Action; Links and respond to Push alerts. These can come from Action Corps Weekly, DAV or other organizations you may follow.
- Attend Standdowns, Meet & Greets, listen to debates, check for information on the computer on where your legislators may be in your area

TOUCHDOWN

- Send a thank you to your legislators
- Inform your membership and thank those who may have helped
