I joined the VFW Auxiliary eight years ago under the eligibility of my oldest son, Richard. Richard is a retired Army Medic and served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He is married and has three daughters.  My grandfather, William Brown, was Commander of Flagstaff VFW Post 1709 in 1955-1958 and in the Navy in WII, 1943-1945. My father, brother and brother-in-law were stateside in the Army.

My wonderful and supportive husband Doug and I have two additional sons, Douglas Jr. (26) and Daniel (25), who is married and has a 7 month old son.  I enjoy photography with a special interest in sharing the beauty of nature with friends thru social media
